Thrive Director & Community Relations Coordinator
General Description
The Thrive Director & Community Relations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and implementing outreach and partnership efforts that promote the mission and work of Hope Women’s Centers' pregnancy services and clinics.
Supervision
The Thrive Director & Community Relations Coordinator will report to the Executive Director. There
will be a yearly written and oral evaluation as well as regular one-on-one meetings with the Executive Director.
Supervises
The Thrive Director & Community Relations Coordinator supervises and coordinates outreaches and
some community relations for Hope Women’s Centers, including patient photo shoots, Baby Bottle
Boomerang, Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, and church partner events.
Qualifications

A committed Christ follower who strives to live a life guided by biblical principles.

Agreement with Hope Women’s Centers’ Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and policies of the organization.

Be active affiliate of a local Bible-believing church, and able to provide a pastoral reference

Be dependable, punctual, and committed to the ministry of Hope Women’s Centers.

Good management skills and ability to motivate others.

Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Problem-solving skills.

Be able to provide support to the volunteers.

Be able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision and complete tasks as requested.

Responsibilities: General
-
To make prayer an integral part of daily life, both in practice and by example.

To understand that Hope Women’s Centers is a Christian organization and that the employees and volunteers of Hope Women’s Centers act in a role similar to ministers, missionaries, and Bible teachers.

To follow policies and procedures to ensure consistent operations in all centers.
Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Role and Duties
Administrative:
-
Make monthly prayer lists for staff and donors.
-
Handle arranging routine one-on-one meetings, community, and church presentations.

Maintain community and church relations.
-
Develop presentations and carry out public speaking for churches and community outreach.

Become familiar with the church database and stay updated on changes.

Work with the Executive Director to develop effective community events and strategies.
Reporting:
-
Be able to provide updates on events on a weekly basis to the Executive Director.

Able to provide numbers and details to the Executive Director regarding outreaches.
-
Mileage reports and petty cash to the accountant.
-
Maintain notes on volunteers and donors in Ekyros.
Public Relations:
-
Provide information about our services and needs to churches, para-church groups, homeschool co-ops, and other community organizations in Broward County.

Be one of the public faces of the organization and represent Hope in the community through correspondence, meetings, and speaking engagements.

Promote all fundraising events.
General Staff Duties:
As requested by your supervisor or Executive Director,

Attend staff meetings.
-
Attend on-going training and conferences (may require travel).
-
Attend Hope Women’s Centers events and other events as needed.
-
Participate in representation to churches and organizations.
-
Organize Volunteers for Thrive, including training on Hope procedures and Thrive materials.
-
Teach classes when volunteers are not available.
-
Work with Clinic Administrators regarding Thrive schedule.
-
Order all materials for the gifts (Bump portal and FPCN).
-
Communicate with Clinic Services Director for FPCN orders.
-
Organize materials for specific class gifts.
-
Take items to clinics or arrange with Clinic Directors to be picked up.
-
Work with Children’s Aid on ordering Car seats and other holiday items.
-
Keep Track of all materials in each clinic using spreadsheet with Clinic Directors.

Keep Brite Course up to date with Volunteers/Staff and classes offered.
-
Print Thrive materials to be handed out in the clinics.
-
Work with the Clinic Directors to have an organized space in each clinic to store the gifts.

Review notes from Volunteers to double check accuracy.

Communicate with Patient Advocates and Medical team if needed with patients.
