We’re so excited you are wanting to learn more about volunteering with us! We LOVE our volunteers and are so grateful for the support of our community – support that makes what we do possible.

Only persons who are 20 years of age or older are considered for volunteer service in the centers.

EXCEPTION: High school juniors and seniors who are a minimum of 16 years old may be trained as Hope Advocates and can answer phones, help with events, and fulfill other clerical roles in the centers. Applicants must interview and be approved by the Client Services Director. The Client Services Director will train these volunteers and assess their maturity level and readiness to serve in the centers.

  • Orientations are held at the Ft. Lauderdale Center. There is no charge for the introductory class or training.
