Giving Tuesday Report

We hosted our first-ever Giving Tuesday Event on December 1st at our Ft. Lauderdale Center, not having any idea if anyone would show up or not! We were pleasantly surprised that many of our donors made it a priority to drop by that morning and encourage us.

For most, it was the first time they had ever been inside one of Hope Women’s Centers’ clinics, and everyone commented on the beauty of the space and the professional feel they got from being inside the clinic.

The biggest treat, according to the guests,  was being able to see a live ultrasound and to meet some prospective parents. One of the patients brought her boyfriend and many commented on his undivided attention to the images as they came up on the screen. It was clear to everyone that the ultrasound makes all the difference!

The  highlight of the morning was a visit from a young couple who brought their two children on a “home-school field trip.” As we talked about how they found out about Hope, the young woman shared that she had been a client several years before. When she heard about the Open House, she wanted to come back and begin a conversation about life with her children. God provided a real-life story for our donors to see that our work is helping women choose life, choose family, and choose Jesus!

Our goal was to bless those who came, and I think we accomplished that! Each attendee received a gift copy of God’s Wisdom and Promises. We will be looking at our calendar and planning Open Houses at our other centers in the near future! Seeing what we do is an important way for our investors to appreciate how we use their dollars.
