Thankful for our 2017 Partners in Hope!

Updated: Apr 21, 2023

As 2017 draws to a close, I want to thank ministry partners who have joined with us financially over the years to bring hope and help to young women and men in Broward County.

I want you to see what your dollars have done, and remind you of the facts that tell the success story of our work with families facing unplanned pregnancies over the past five years:

  1. 30,605 women went to Hope Women’s Centers for free medical services

  2. 19,798 of those women received a pregnancy test and options counseling

  3. 15,099 of those women had a positive pregnancy test

  4. 12,313 of those women were considering abortion

  5. 10,556 (86%) of those considering abortion, chose life for their unborn children!

  6. 6,856 Gospel Presentations were made

That is an average of 2,000+ lives saved each year! When you wrote that first check to Hope, did you have any idea that your gift would have such a huge impact on the future? I hope you feel a sense of wonder – and a sense of satisfaction -from knowing that your dollars have truly saved lives…and not just the lives of unborn babies, but the lives of their mothers and fathers, too! Read what Julia had to say about her experience at Hope:

Hope Patient with Baby

I was not happy with where I was in life, so when I found  out I was pregnant, I was scared. I didn’t think I  could  provide a happy and healthy environment for my child. I wasn’t sure if the father of the baby and I could co-parent and create a safe home for her. I felt so pressured to have an abortion.

My visit to Hope helped me to have an open dialogue with the father of the baby and to see his commitment, which is what gave me the courage to choose life. I’m glad I went to Hope; they gave me hope!

I have two pieces of exciting news for you to celebrate with us!

  1. We signed a lease for a new center in Pembroke Pines and anticipate opening in late January 2018. This center will bring Hope to thousands of women and men in southwestern Broward who are facing unplanned pregnancies.

  2. On January 3, our Men of Hope Ministry will be staffed for 4 shifts each week, which means a male counselor will be available to meet with the boyfriends/husbands of our patients. This will have a huge impact on decisions for life as men are encouraged to be all that God created them to

As you plan your end-of-year giving, will you prayerfully consider a generous year-end gift to help us furnish the new center? We have a vision to see thousands of lives saved and changed at all four locations of Hope in the new year, but we need your help to make that vision a reality!

Our Needs List will give you some ideas about what we hope to buy. I hope you will find an item on the list that you would like to underwrite and that you will send your best gift in the enclosed envelope before December 31, 2017. If you prefer, you can give online.

We promise to never take your gifts for granted and to be faithful stewards of every resource God provides. We know you have many choices of worthy causes, and we feel blessed that you would even consider another gift to Hope.
